Forty-seven years ago, President Lyndon B. Johnson signed the historic Voting Rights Act(VRA) into law. But, the law is not just history; it remains critical to ensuring that every American can cast a ballot and have it counted. Even as we celebrate the VRA, unnecessary and costly new state voting laws remind us that voter suppression and intimidation are still a problem.

It’s My Vote. I will be heard !

When Americans head to the polls in November, the election isn’t just about the day-to-day battles between candidates. It’s about voters like you. This election will impact you and your community. It’s your chance to stand up for what you believe in – and make sure your family and friends do, too.  This could be the most important election ever. This election is about jobs, environment, fair pay, health and education, and other issues important to women.  So let’s get women registered and get out the women’s vote.
