Membership is open to all women (and men!), if you have a college degree, or a degree from a two-year institution or the equivalent (for example, a RN degree). Students are eligible if they are enrolled in a two-year or four-year program at a regionally accredited institution.
In principle and in practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership. There shall be no barrier to full participation in this organization on the basis of gender, race, creed, age, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or class.
The branch fiscal year is July 1 through June 30, but prospective members may join at any time during the year. You can also join as a dual member if you belong to another branch.
